1. Tuition Free: Most virtual programs are costly. PVCS is a state-funded school with free tuition for students in San Diego and contiguous counties: Riverside County, Imperial County, and Orange County.
2. Complete High School Education: Many schools only offer courses for select grades. PVCS offers a state standards aligned high school education for grades 9-12 with a traditional high school diploma, as well as graduation ceremony.
3. Personalized Learning Model: Each student is unique and comes to class with unique talents and needs. Our personalized learning model custom crafts each course to match the needs of every student.
4. It’s Our School: Most virtual programs have strong ties to “for-profit” companies. Our school’s only commitments are to the students and their families, using the state standards as a guide. Students and their parents have the opportunity to contribute their feedback to the school’s ongoing development.
5. One-on-One: In many schools, students are little more than an ID number.  At PVCS, each student meets weekly, one-on-one, with a California credentialed teacher.
6. Flexibility: The modern world demands a degree of flexibility that traditional classrooms can’t meet. Our program is flexible enough to accommodate students who frequently travel for athletics, artistic events, acting, etc.
